About Life Recovery Ministry

Located in Oroville, California, Life Recovery Ministry is an alcohol and drug rehab ministry. This is a Christian discipleship program where individuals engage in a faith-based inpatient treatment program.

This program, run by the Father’s House Church, lasts for 12 months and is divided into three recovery homes, two for men and one for women. Program participants engage in church services, morning devotions, and small groups and classes, and they learn job skills through volunteering with partner organizations. Men learn landscaping, property maintenance, and general handyman work, while the women work at a secondhand boutique in town. Graduates of Life Recovery Ministry are invited to move on to the transitional program for six months at a time.

The program has a cost of $700, however no one is turned away for inability to pay. If participants are referred to additional treatment services, these may be covered by insurance plans from providers such as Cigna, Aetna, Wellmark, Beacon, and TRICARE. Always verify coverage and out of network benefits with your provider before enrolling in a treatment program.
