About NSO 360 Wellness Center Life Choices
Neighborhood Service Organization, or NSO for short, is based out of a commercial district in Detroit, Michigan. They offer substance use treatment as part of their 360 Neighborhood Wellness Center Program. This encompasses a lot of different things, such as behavioral health services, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), counseling and therapy, and substance misuse treatment. They serve approximately 12,000 people annually, so I want to take a deeper dive into some of their more unique services as well.
Housing for the Homeless
Their clinic offers housing services for the homeless through their Homeless Recovery Service Program. They provide emergency shelter for women, permanent supportive housing, and even rapid rehousing services. They also offer a medical respite program that integrates healthcare services, social support, and job training. Finally, their Life Choices program helps people with developmental disabilities. Their Older Adult Services provide specialized care to older folks who need wellness programs and support to enhance the quality of their lives.
