About Liberty Place Recovery Center for Women

Conveniently situated in Richmond, Kentucky, Liberty Place Recovery Center for Women is a long term residential recovery program for women recovering from chemical dependency.

Treatment is community-based and uses the 12 Step program from Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. Those who come to stay typically start in the SOS dormitory. SOS stands for Safe Off the Streets and offers support for those in early recovery.

When they are ready, they progress to motivational track one. This involves finding a 12 Step sponsor and starting educational classes on recovery and criminal thinking. In motivational track two they move into on-site apartments and continue their recovery process.

Services are provided at no cost, including recovery educational materials, housing, clothing, food, and personal care items. As they progress and find employment, they contribute an income-based fee.

The final stages of the residential care program include finding offsite housing. They are encouraged to continue recovery activities even once they are living offsite.
