About Las Vegas Rescue Mission

The Las Vegas Rescue Mission is a Christian organization that provides food, shelter, and addiction recovery to people of all ages in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ethel Pearson Park is a local landmark.

Since their founding in 1970, their campus has expanded as they strive to meet growing needs and now encompasses two city blocks. Note that their residential substance use disorder program is rooted in Christian principles.

LVRM doesn’t bill insurance, nor do they turn people away who can’t pay. Those receiving some kind of income through small monthly payments. Those who don’t have a regular income can contribute in other ways.

Restoring You

The six month residential treatment program is structured in such a way that it introduces you to many key components of recovery and long term sobriety. Beyond the traditional therapy and spiritual components, clients attend support group meetings and may participate in work therapy. I like these inclusions because they acknowledge that all areas of our lives may need a helping hand when we’re in recovery.

Fellowship in Recovery

I appreciate how this program emphasizes the importance of building relationships during sobriety. Like minded individuals can be your strongest supporters when you find yourself experiencing difficulties. Even if you never call on these new friends for help, just knowing you have people in your corner can make a difference.
