About Larkin Community Hospital South Miami
Larkin Community Hospital South Miami offers addiction and substance abuse treatment in Miami, Florida. Their all inclusive inpatient detoxification program is tailored to meet your specific needs. They provide medical care along with customized treatment. They offer inpatient alcohol, opioid, and benzo detoxification. This medical procedure involves gradually weaning you off the drug while under close medical and mental health supervision.
Their psychiatrists offer psychological support to patients during withdrawal to assist them in overcoming the emotional and behavioral problems brought on by addiction. It is anticipated that patients will stay at the facility for approximately three days or until they no longer experience severe withdrawal symptoms. Every day of the week including holidays their 24-hour intake team is on call and ready to assist you.
Their outpatient program provides a structured therapeutic environment for adults at least 18 years of age who are experiencing an acute exacerbation of their mental illness. This means that their situation impairs their ability to function in various areas of their daily lives such as social, vocational or educational domains.
The program is also intended to offer therapeutic interventions for anxiety disorders, OCD, post-traumatic stress disorder and other disorders for patients who have a dual diagnosis. They provide daily outpatient psychotherapeutic group interventions, weekly medication management by their psychiatrist, and individual or family therapy as needed.
Four psychotherapy groups are offered each day by their partial hospitalization program, which is open six days a week. Weekly medication management is also offered. About eight weeks is the duration of stay for the partial hospitalization program. A maximum of four days a week are available for their intensive outpatient program, which offers weekly medication management in addition to four daily psychotherapy groups.
