About Landmark Recovery Oklahoma City
Landmark Recovery in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma served men and women who needed support for their substance use disorder. They’re permanently closed now but they provided a range of services including inpatient care and outpatient rehab. There was also a partial hospitalization program and medical detox support as well. Landmark Recovery Facilities are operating in many cities across eight other states. They accept self pay and policies from most commercial insurance providers. Select locations also accept Medicaid.
When it was open and serving the community, the Oklahoma City location provided comprehensive care to men and women who were ready to start recovery. Clients had access to medical detox using FDA approved medications like methadone or Suboxone. These medications are proven to help individuals safely recover from their substance use disorder. Also, this treatment can help you manage your withdrawals and ongoing cravings that many people experience during and after detox. Ongoing treatment, even after recovery, allows you to focus your efforts on therapy and not on your addiction.
After you exited detox here, impatient care was generally the next step in the recovery process. Through inpatient care, you'd work with experienced addiction counselors. These counselors helped you pinpoint triggers that have led to your addiction use. Through individual and group settings, you also had the chance to build critical skills for successful sobriety. These skills included being able to identify stressful emotions and knowing what to do when they occur.
Outpatient care allowed you access to many of these evidence based services. However, treatment happened less frequently and was flexible to your schedule.
Other support that was offered here that I appreciate was their alumni program. This program allowed you to tap into a pool of mentors that you could lean on for support. There were also specialized programs for military members and caregivers.
