Lake County Health Department North Chicago Health Center (NCHC) is a satellite facility that provides a range of healthcare services to the greater North Chicago, Illinois, community. They offer a variety of substance abuse programs (SAP) throughout their network. For payment, I appreciate that they offer a sliding scale fee based on family size.

Opiate Treatment and MAT

Whether facing opioid addiction or severe dependency on other substances, going cold turkey might not be a smart decision. This center provides a methadone-based opioid treatment program (OTP) and medication assisted treatment (MAT) to help ease withdrawal symptoms and detox safely from alcohol, opiates or other substances.
