La Cosecha Halfway House – Closed

La Cosecha Halfway House in Holyoke, Massachusetts is a now defunct facility that once provided addiction recovery services to adults aged 18 and older. Military insurance and various private plans were accepted, along with Medicaid, Medicare, and self-pay. Sliding scale fees were also available to those eligible.

A Detox Center and Residential Drug Rehab Program

Many clients began their recovery journeys here through the center’s detox support services. In this way, they could safely manage their withdrawal services under careful medical supervision, which we know is a vital part of the recovery process.

Following this stage, many would stay on to receive care through the inpatient drug rehab program, which provided a structured yet comfortable environment in which residents could focus on and overcome their addictions. The facility was designed to emphasize a community atmosphere that fostered peer support, connection, and accountability.

Holistic and Culturally Competent Outpatient Addiction Treatment

Clients could also access flexible treatment services here through the center’s intensive outpatient programming (IOP), and standard outpatient treatment.

We like that the care approach here was holistic, taking into account clients' emotional, physical, and psychological needs throughout the recovery process. Programming was also culturally responsive, catering to diverse client populations, while also providing bilingual services.

Sober Living Options to Transition Out of Rehab

Sober and transitional living options were also available to individuals who wanted access to supportive yet flexible community living, either as a form of additional support while engaging in outpatient care or due to unstable living situations.

Aftercare support services were also provided here to support clients post-recovery to help them prevent relapse and maintain sobriety.
