About Hope Enrichment Center Southaven

Behavioral health counseling is a big umbrella term that can include many different kinds of therapy to treat mental health disorders. The goal of this type of treatment is to talk through current problems with a focus on how to change unhealthy or self-destructive actions. You’ll be assigned a trained and qualified therapist who you’ll work with to make progress.

For clients who want additional support, peer services may be available. For this, you’ll be paired with an individual who has lived experience of a mental illness and can understand what you are going through. They offer HIV support groups and counseling as well.

To begin getting help, you’ll need to call to speak to an intake worker. They will arrange for a screening test to identify and diagnose your conditions. Hope Enrichment works with clients who have a dual diagnosis. Once you are admitted, you’ll schedule your first session with your therapist. These sessions will be more frequent at first and taper off as you stabilize.
