About BHG Westerly Treatment Center

BHG (Behavioral Health Group) is accredited by The Joint Commission as an addiction and mental health treatment organization. They have treatment centers in 20 states, including one in St. Westerly, Rhode Island. I like that the organization was founded in 2006 and offers medication assisted treatment (MAT) for detox and maintenance, counseling, therapy and wraparound services for clients with co-occurring disorders.

Clients can pay for services using Medicare, Medicaid, and most major insurance plans. The staff offers same day or next day admissions for your convenience.

Convenient Location & Inclusive Treatment in Westerly

The facility is about one mile from the walkable, historic downtown area, the cultural heart of Westerly. Westerly has an abundance of public beaches and walkable shorelines, making it a beautiful place to start addiction treatment.

Programs are inclusive and welcome everyone, including veterans, pregnant women, abuse survivors and those in the LGBTQ+ community.

Medical Screenings & Care

In addition to addiction and mental health care, the providers offer medical screenings and assessments. The organization partners with other providers to offer extended care and support services. I noticed one client said, “The people here really do care and are here for you.”
