About Jersey Shore University Medical Center
Jersey Shore University Medical Center, through its Park Place Program in Asbury Park, New Jersey offers outpatient drug and alcohol rehab alongside mental health services for individuals living with substance use and co-occurring disorders.
As part of Hackensack Meridian Health, I like that the program combines evidence based addiction treatment, psychiatric care and integrated primary care to support whole person recovery.
Trauma Therapy and Crisis Intervention
Clients may engage in a partial hospitalization program or step into outpatient treatment for ongoing support with alcohol use disorder, opioid use disorder and dual diagnosis concerns.
Treatment blends therapy with approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy, trauma therapy and psychotropic medication management.
I want to point out that crisis intervention, tobacco cessation and care for serious mental illness are also part of the broader service offering.
