Jasper Mountain SAFE Center is a state licensed, nationally accredited residential treatment program in Springfield, Oregon serving children ages 4 to 13 in crisis.
The team provides stabilization, in depth assessment, family evaluation and psychiatric and medical evaluations as an alternative to psychiatric hospitalization.

Short Term Residential Stabilization
The SAFE Center specializes in short term residential care, with typical stays ranging from 3 to 90 days.
Children receive psychiatric evaluation, medication review and nursing assessments, behavioral support and aftercare planning, along with educational services through an on site certified school.
I want to note that care is delivered with a one adult to three children ratio and 24/7 supervision from crisis intervention trained staff.
The 22 acre rural setting includes nature trails, a pond, gardens and recreational space designed to support stabilization, while structured assessment helps identify the root causes of each child's emotional and behavioral challenges.
Family Centered Trauma Care
Families are an essential part of the SAFE Center model, participating actively in assessment, observation and skills building throughout the child's stay.
I appreciate that families traveling from a distance can stay in an on site apartment at no cost for 2 to 3 days, allowing parents and caregivers to remain engaged in the treatment process.

The SAFE Center is located east of Springfield, Oregon just three miles from I-105 and accepts referrals for children from across the United States, including private placements.
