More Than A Place to Stay
This location is sometimes described as a halfway house, but I don’t think that’s entirely fair. Typically, halfway houses provide shelter for those in recovery, and maybe support groups, but otherwise leave it to individuals to find outside programs for treatment and support. Here, you have staff working around the clock to support your needs, so your health and recovery journey is always supported.
Long Term Preparation
Something else that I think sets this location apart from halfway houses is the focus on skill building. Again, the multidisciplinary staff are present to help you in whatever ways you need, which includes building life skills that will set you up for success as you continue to live in sobriety. These skills will allow you to support yourself independently and lead a fulfilling life.
