About Into Action Recovery Centers

The primary residential treatment center of Into Action Recovery Centers is located in Houston, Texas. The organization is CARF-accredited and LegitScript-certified. In 2022 and 2024 they won the Expertise Award for best drug and alcohol rehab center in Houston. At this location, adults are able to receive residential treatment for addiction and dual diagnosis.

I like that they use both evidence-based therapies and holistic therapies. Insurance, including Tricare, is accepted. If you are uninsured then they will provide you with an affordable self-pay plan.

On site medical detox will be your first critical step in recovery. During this time, you will be detoxing your body from the toxins that come from substance use. You’ll have round-the-clock medical supervision. If needed, they can provide medical treatment to reduce the discomfort and pain of withdrawal. What is great is that you will have your own customized detox plan.

Once you have completed detox then you can commence residential treatment. They are a 48-bed facility. You will have the option to stay in treatment for 30 or 60 days. During this time, you will be attending individual counseling and group therapy.

If needed, you will be able to extend your care. It provides you with the option for a longer stay. Their extended care unit can house up to 21 individuals.

They do offer a partial hospitalization program (PHP) here. This program is ideal if you have completed residential treatment. You will have a structured daily environment and return home in the evenings. The program length is four to six weeks, You’ll attend therapy sessions and educational groups five days per week for four-hour sessions.

Providing a flexible schedule is the intensive outpatient program (IOP). This program allows you to attend work and school during the day and treatment in the evening. You will be in the program for about 10 to 12 weeks. Sessions are conducted three nights per week.
