About Innovative Alternatives Lighthouse Christian Ministries

Lighthouse Christian Ministries strives to provide service, build relationships and shine Christ’s love in the community. They are not a church but are a Christian non-profit ministry. Their programs are offered free of charge and are funded in part by support from local churches. They are located in Bacliff, Texas.

Peer-Led Mental Health Coaching for Texans

Lighthouse Christian Ministries provides peer-led mental health coaching. Staff members and volunteers who’ve had training are willing and able to support folks living with mental illness.

Training is provided through the Gateway to Hope mental health curriculum and is available to anyone in the Bacliff, San Leon, Bayview, or Kemah area.

Peer coaches give community members tools and techniques for responding to situations effectively. I think it’s nice that they can also quickly connect individuals in distress with professional care.

Substance Use Recovery Fellowship in Bacliff

I like that Lighthouse Christian Ministries has a weekly fellowship group called Pathway to Peace. This group has been around since 2018. It helps members hear the gospel and learn how to apply it to their recovery.

This fellowship group uses a Christ-centered 12-step approach to recovery.
