Located in Peoria, Illinois, on the campus of Carle Health Proctor Hospital is the Addiction Recovery Center. It used to be part of UnityHealth. They have both inpatient and outpatient programs for adults dealing with substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health disorders. They are open 24/7, enabling clients to seek help for their addiction problems day or night.

They offer inpatient detox for clients who require a higher level of care to manage the symptoms of withdrawal and cravings. The hospital-based program combines prescription medication with medical care, and counseling services, to give clients the best possible start to their recovery journey. After detoxing, clients can transition seamlessly through several levels of outpatient care, including partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. A continuing care program provides long-term support for clients after treatment to help enhance coping skills and prevent relapse.
