Based in Yuma, Arizona, Horizon Health and Wellness offers accredited behavioral health and addiction treatment. Relapse prevention and counseling services are also available to support individuals as part of various treatment programs. Some of these include a 30 day residential addiction treatment program, intensive outpatient treatment, medication assisted treatment and DUI education and treatment. Medication assisted treatment here primarily involves the FDA approved medicine Suboxone. These services are available for residents of Pinal, Gila, Yuma and Maricopa County.

Alcohol screenings are also available as part of their DUI support. This program also includes relevant treatment and 16 hours of DUI education. Their residential treatment involves individual and group therapy sessions alongside educational sessions as part of an individualized treatment plan.

Their intensive outpatient program consists of 48 sessions. Groups meet three times a week for three hours, with flexibility that allows clients to return home in between sessions and continue with their work or studies. Telemedicine is also available for clients unable to make regular in person sessions or meetings.

In terms of what former clients have to say, reviews are generally positive. Many praise the center’s friendly, straightforward and thorough staff. However, some complain about time management, wait times and difficulty contacting and getting hold of staff. With this in mind, I would caution individuals considering treatment at this facility to do thorough research before committing.
