About Hope Homes Recovery Services
Hope Homes Recovery Services offers sober living residences for clients in recovery from substance use disorder (SUD). Additionally, they assist clients with co-occurring mental health issues, including clients with eating disorders and other challenges. The apartments are in Smyrna, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta.
This is not a treatment center, but rather aftercare support residences. The program serves young adults, seniors and women with children. Clients on medication assisted treatment (MAT) may also live in the supported residences.
Comfortable and Supervised Apartment Living
The apartments near Atlanta are completely furnished with separate living and dining rooms. I like that clients meeting specific criteria are eligible for private bedrooms. There’s a fully equipped kitchen, high speed internet access, cable TV and a washer and dryer in the apartment.
While in the apartment community, you’ll have access to fellowship activities and faith based support if you desire. The apartments are within easy access to downtown Atlanta, where you can find the beautiful Piedmont Park.
The park has over 200 acres of green space, and there is a swimming pool, lake, playground and dog park. This is an excellent place to stroll, relax and contemplate your sober journey.
Employment Opportunities To Support Recovery
One of the things I like about Atlanta is the employment opportunities. Because you’re near a thriving downtown center, there are lots of opportunities for gainful employment. There are cultural and arts opportunities and a large recovery community.
Some of the services offered through the program include job training, life skills development and nutrition and fitness classes. You’ll work on building a healthy routine and work toward independent living.
Amenities
Addiction treatment programs provide an opportunity to get your life back on track with access to school classes or college courses. Recreational therapy uniquely combines therapeutic interventions with an activity, like horse-riding, hiking, wilderness therapy, basketball, tennis, or a full workout. Benefits of recreational therapy include providing a healthy way to work through the emotions of recovery, learning to build and maintain relationships, improving communication skills, and building self-esteem.
Residential drug rehab provides the comforts of home with the therapeutic support needed to successfully recover. Benefits of an inpatient program include increased safety, a higher success rate, and the time and distance given to focus on recovery. Residential drug rehabs are often the preferred method of treatment, as they can be tailored to meet specific needs, offer focused therapeutic care, and provide the necessary tools to sustain recovery.
Swimming increases blood flow to the body and brain, boosts white blood cells, and improves muscle strength, lung capacity, and overall stamina. Drug rehabs with a swimming pool offer physical and mental benefits to complement the recovery process.
Some rehab programs offer free Wi-Fi to guests who have full access to their smartphone devices or laptop computers during treatment. While access to these devices may be allowed, the time spent using them is often regulated or restricted so clients can focus on treatment.
