Hope Center Ministries Danville Women’s Center is a private drug and alcohol treatment program for women. The center is a lodge in Cascade, Virginia, that houses up to 20 women at a time. The program treats addiction and underlying co-occurring mental health disorders.
A Cascade of Faith Based Addiction Programs
Set back down a half-mile long driveway is a beautiful lodge that houses a faith based addiction program designed for women. Hope Center Ministries takes a holistic approach to women’s recovery by weaving faith into every part of the treatment and recovery process.
The program aims to help women find strength, purpose, and meaning in their journey into sobriety. The program uses a spiritual 12 Step model of recovery and Biblical principles to encourage the women to form a relationship with Jesus Christ. The treatment team believes that sobriety comes out of this relationship.
A Three Phase Program for Sobriety in Rural Cascade
This program has three phases and takes one year to complete. The first phase is four weeks and includes lay counseling, personal spiritual development, daily devotions, reflection, and family support. The women have daily chores and participate in recreation.
The second phase lasts 40 weeks and includes all aspects of the first phase but adds an additional 40 hours per week of vocational training.
The third phase is eight weeks and prepares the women to get back to their lives through financial stewardship education and how to earn a living after completing the program.
