High Point Men’s Addiction Treatment Center MATC is a Joint Commision accredited center located in Brockton, Massachusetts. They offer detox and inpatient treatment to men over the age of 18 who are struggling with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders. To cover the cost of treatment they accept credit card payments.

During detox you will be medically supervised 24/7 by the medical staff. Experiencing withdrawals, cravings, heightened emotions, challenging behaviors, exhaustion and dehydration are some of the many symptoms you can experience. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is also available as an option, which can help combat withdrawals and cravings. To better assist you, the medical team, case managers and counselors will be part of your care plan team. Aftercare planning, individual counseling, medication management, group therapy, family education and support will be some of the many services provided.

Their clinical program is continued inpatient care after you phase out of the detox stage. Relapse prevention, group therapy, psychoeducation, harm reduction, lectures and prevention of opioid overdose workshops will be some of the many services provided. They offer anger management therapy and help you learn healthier coping skills. Cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing are holistic therapies that will be utilized. These help with problem solving, rebuilding self confidence and canceling out old negative thinking patterns and behaviors. Attending 12 Step meetings and actively engaging in your recovery will be part of the requirements of staying here.
