About Hendricks House

Hendricks House provides substance abuse care in a halfway-home setting for men in Vineland, New Jersey. Most men remain at Hendricks House for four to six months while they work on gaining more independence.

Providing a Home Environment

For guests receiving treatment at Vineland Campus, they offer a compassionate, home-like setting. I noted they don’t allow guests to live in a sterile environment that doesn’t feel relaxed. You’ll have a living room, dining room, kitchen, meeting rooms, and a gym for exercise and fitness.

Residents also have a dinner table, where they share prepared meals with roommates. You have a rotating schedule for cooking meals, and you’ll learn skills that transition after treatment.

This environment helps with socialization and reduces isolation, which is common with substance use. They encourage open discussion with their Alumni.

The goal is to have a sense of community and family with others in recovery who can encourage your progress and understand the unique challenges addiction can bring.

Hendricks House is a non-profit organization and accepts all New Jersey Fee For Service programs, including MAP and Recovery Court.
