Located at various locations throughout east Tennessee, McNabb Center is a nationally accredited behavioral health and addiction treatment provider. Offering mental health evaluations, medically monitored detox, intensive outpatient treatment, residential drug and alcohol rehab, counseling, crisis stabilization, partial hospitalization, medication assisted treatment, continuing care, recovery support groups, and peer support specialists.
McNabb Center has been providing behavioral healthcare and addiction treatment since 1948 and delivers support to more than 43,000 individuals each year. Its team of expert clinicians is an integral part of East Tennessee community mental health. With both short and long term treatment available, The McNabb Center’s clinical team will determine the most appropriate level of care following a comprehensive mental health assessment. Each resident will take part in the structured recovery program which includes individual and group therapy, family counseling, skill development, peer support, and discharge planning. Evidence based therapies include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, medication assisted treatment, and motivational interviewing. Upon discharge, each patient receives a comprehensive continuing care plan which may include recovery support groups or engaging with a peer support specialist.
The McNabb Center is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and is a member of several national and state organizations including MHCA, the National Council for Behavioral Health and Mental Health First Aid, Tennessee Alliance for Children and Families, and Tennessee Association of Mental Health Organizations. Medicaid, Medicare, commercial insurance plans, and private pay accepted. Other payment options, including sliding scale payment assistance, and financial assistance are also available.
