About Healing Transitions
Healing Transitions runs addiction programs in Raleigh, North Carolina. They have a campus for women only that includes a residential facility and emergency shelter. The women’s treatment aims to help clients begin a new chapter of their stories. They have longer-term shelter beds for women who need housing assistance or other services. I like that they offer a family support program. This is open to family and friends. If you are impacted by someone’s addiction, this program is for you. They meet weekly on a virtual platform.
Healing Transitions also provides outreach through their Rapid Responders. These are peer-support specialists who are certified to do this work. They connect with folks who have overdosed within 24-72 hours.They’ll offer access to resources and services. This program is run jointly with Wake County EMS.
