About LifeSkills Haven4Change
Haven4Change is a nonprofit transitional living support program in Bowling Green, Kentucky. It serves women 18 and older with substance abuse. Their program includes residential treatment and aftercare planning. The program allows residents to live with their children 12 years old and younger. It requires a commitment of six to 12 months.
Haven4Change's tiered program is designed to help you find your footing in recovery through structure and responsibilities. You'll work to meet weekly counseling requirements based on your needs and education groups. You'll also attend regular 12 step meetings and get a sponsor. Gradually, you'll find yourself developing new life and coping skills to support your ongoing sobriety.
What is especially nice about Haven4Change is that they can connect you with social services, too. A case manager will work with you throughout your stay who can help you find additional counseling, apply for food stamps, and more. They want to help you get on steadier footing during and after your stay.
Rent (paid weekly or monthly) pays for your participation in the program.
