Hathaway Sycamores Child and Family Services offers behavioral health services, crisis outreach, educational support and other social services in Los Angeles County. The El Nido campus is in Altadena, California, and serves adults and adolescents.

Support for Parents and Those with Complex Needs
One unique service I noted was the Parent Partner program, where caregivers are able to get peer support for parenting challenges. Sycamores also has a Full Service Partnership (FSP) program that can support parents or caregivers who have mental illness and/or addiction issues along with children five or younger.
If you have a MediCal managed care plan and struggle with substance use and mental health, the Enhanced Care Management program can connect you with a variety of services ranging from housing support to medical treatment. I appreiciate that the Care Manager helps you get the resources that meet your specific needs, and the program is free.
