28-Day Residential Treatment in Memphis
Harbor House’s residential program is 28 days of intensive programming. During your stay, you’ll work on reaching recovery goals through participating in a variety of therapies.
Once you’re admitted, you’ll begin social detox. During this time, you’ll learn how to manage withdrawal. Clients undergo this process without the use of medication unless the medical doctor determines otherwise.
During the seven-day detox program, you'll be carefully monitored and receive the rest, nutrition and exercise you need to begin improving your overall health. Detox clients are kept in a special unit that is separate from the main residence.
Once detox is done, you’ll move to the main housing area for the rest of your treatment. Harbor House uses the 12 Step model, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational enhancement therapy and individual and group counseling to help clients achieve recovery.
Co-occuring Treatment for Tennessee Residents
I appreciate that men diagnosed with dual disorders have access to additional tools to support their recovery. Harbor House leads these clients through a program that is designed for folks living with co-occurring addiction and mental health disorders. Each client gets a handbook that is easy to follow. You’ll work with your counselor to set achievable goals and make progress toward lasting sobriety and wellness.
