About Harbor Care Health and Wellness Center

Harbor Care Healthcare is a nonprofit based in Nashua, New Hampshire. You can find a group of people dedicated to providing services to different low-income, homeless, and disabled community members. They want to do their best to provide you with affordable health care, housing solutions, substance use treatment, veteran support, home care, and even HIV/AIDS services. This is a lot for one place to offer, but I think they do this kind of work well.

When it comes to housing assistance, they operate a few different housing programs. These include permanent supportive housing for individuals and families dealing with either mental illness or substance misuse disorders, transitional housing for veterans and their families who are experiencing homelessness, and licensed community residences that offer 24/7 long-term communal housing.

Health Care Services

They also offer several health care services through their wellness center, which encompasses dental care, mental health counseling, addiction treatment, and pharmacy services. Their veteran support includes housing assistance, outreach programs, and suicide prevention efforts. A lot of what they do really stood out to me and felt fresh and unique.
