Long-Term Care in Richmond

One thing I liked about Hallmark Youthcare is how much they value repairing and strengthening youths’ relationships with their families. On top of the individual and group counseling sessions, they have at least one family therapy session every week. The goal in these sessions is to reunite families through education and the establishment of healthy communication patterns.

They also host a monthly family support group for the parents and family members of residents. These sessions teach family members more about the nature of mental and behavioral health diagnoses while giving them tools to navigate challenging situations and feelings that may come up in the future.
