Guest House is a Catholic faith based residential substance abuse recovery center for men and women in Lake Orion, Michigan. Treatment takes place on a beautiful campus on 105 acres and incorporates holistic healing and 12 Step principles into recovery. This location exclusively serves clergy, seminarians, and Catholic adults.

The staff's spiritual and clinical providers are dedicated to your comfort since that's key to recovery. Through a holistic lens, this means meeting your needs through each facet of your person: mental, physical, spiritual, and social.

I admire how easily they've brought these things together in one location. Through 12 Step meetings and daily mass, you'll have the chance to grow closer to other residents while cultivating your faith. Education opportunities through retreats and workshops will teach you more about coping strategies while delivering more on those social connections.

Go Above and Beyond with Continuing Care

Another aspect about this program that impresses me is its continuing care efforts. These are specialized case management services that start before discharge and continue long after. It strikes me that they've developed separate continued care tracks for men and women. They both offer similar care coordination services, counseling, and group meetings, but focus on challenges specific to men and women in recovery.

Celebrate with Alumni

This facility hosts recurring virtual alumni meetings and yearly retreats. These programs keep you in touch with staff and other residents as you celebrate continued sobriety. Alumni groups are key supporters in your recovery.
