About Greater Boston Addiction Centers

Greater Boston Addiction Centers is a treatment facility that works with men, women and members of the LGBTQ community who are living with a mental health struggle or need treatment for substance use disorder. It's located in Needham, Massachusetts, and they serve the greater Boston area.

When you begin working with this team, you’ll have access to individualized treatment plans that are offered through specialized outpatient programs. These include gender specific recovery programs and flexible day or night treatment and aftercare. You’ll also have access to proven treatments that include detox and medication assisted treatment.

You’ll also receive individual and group counseling, cognitive and dialectical behavior therapies, and addiction education. When you’re exposed to these therapies, you can build critical skills and healthy habits that will help you during your recovery. Through their life skills training program, you’ll also learn key skills that will help you gain a sense of independence. I like that they also offer an employment assistance program and other social services to help with practical day to day life issues that are affected by addiction.
