About Gospel Rescue Mission Women’s Recovery Center

Gospel Rescue Mission (GRM) in Tucson, Arizona is a social services organization that addresses people’s immediate needs. In addition to shelter, housing, and employment, GRM has faith based recovery programs for those dealing with addiction and mental health issues, including the Women’s Recovery Center.

Most individuals have several needs addressed while in the program, so they can combine addiction care with shelter and other services. All services are provided free of charge as the organization operates on donations.

Specialized Mother and Child Services

I think it’s great that the women’s recovery center offers special services for women with children, and they accommodate young children staying with their mothers. The program emphasizes serving those in crisis and offers a faith led recovery program. They address issues such as codependency and co-occurring mental health challenges.

Genuine Care and Support

Women in the addiction recovery program have frequently noted that they felt genuine caring and support in the faith based environment. Several clients noted that they reunited with family members, felt spiritually renewed, and experienced significant personal transformation. Many expressed their gratitude for the deep healing in conjunction with having their physical needs met, such as food and shelter.

I noticed that the facility is newly constructed, secure and modern. There’s an onsite chapel along with recreation spaces, classrooms, counseling rooms, and play areas for children.
