About Gosnold Centerville Outpatient

Gosnold Centerville Outpatient is a nonprofit treatment center in Centerville, Massachusetts. Voluntary and court ordered adults aged 18 and older can participate in partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP) and standard outpatient programs. You'll benefit from flexible treatment options for mental health and co occurring substance use disorders.

Their programs provide specialized care at different intensity levels for people who can live at home while attending treatment. You can participate in group sessions drawing from dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), expressive therapy and psychoeducation. These approaches can help you understand and address the underlying causes of addiction while building coping skills. You can also easily fit treatment into your daily schedule with virtual options available anywhere in Massachusetts.

What stands out most to me is their Veteran’s program. You can access targeted care that addresses the unique experiences and challenges Veterans face including anxiety, trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Their licensed Veteran clinicians are specially trained to understand these issues and provide treatment in a way you can resonate with.

Along with competent care you'll benefit from specialized proven approaches, including eye movement desensitization and reprocessing groups, Veterans peer support groups, cognitive processing therapy, psychoarmor and more.

Another fantastic feature I noticed was their alumni app. They ensure you receive ongoing support and encouragement even after completing treatment. You'll benefit from staying connected with their team as well as peers in recovery. You can access self-evaluation tools, recovery resources, peer support and more. They also offer in-person aftercare programming and events.

Lastly, their different recovery groups really caught my eye. You can participate in group sessions focused on women's recovery, early recovery, mindfulness and dual diagnosis. These groups can create a safe space to dive deep into these topics and open up among peers on similar paths.

Adult Program

Each adult program in Massachusetts is designed to help individuals over the age of 18 recover from addiction to drugs or alcohol. The length of the program and its intensity varies, based on the needs of the individual.

Alcoholism

Most alcohol rehab in Massachusetts consists of individual counseling and group therapy sessions, which address mental and emotional concerns that are contributing to alcohol use. Treatment helps participants make changes to maintain sobriety and prevent relapse.

Rational Behavior Therapy (RBT)

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT)

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) is an integrative, community-based care strategy designed to address the needs of persons with severe and/or complex mental illness or behavioral disorders. ACT is typically provided by a multidisciplinary team of medical and mental health care providers, social workers, therapists, and other specialists, including addiction recovery professionals. These services are frequently provided in the home and community to clients in crisis, those who are clinically unstable, and those who are unable or unwilling to travel to a hospital or clinic for in-person treatment.
