About Gentle Path at The Meadows
Gentle Path at the Meadows is a men's exclusive inpatient addiction treatment program on 35 acres in Wickenburg, Arizona. As part of the Meadows campus, Gentle Path specializes in treating sex addiction alongside other addictions, such as drug and alcohol abuse, through a model that focuses on identifying unresolved trauma.
Services offered by Gentle Path at the Meadows include inpatient residential (IP) treatment, one on one therapy, group therapy and education, lectures, medication management, life and coping skill development, and trauma informed therapy.
Gentle Path at the Meadows specializes in the treatment of co-occurring disorders, also known as dual diagnosis treatment. A co-occurring diagnosis is a mental health diagnosis alongside a substance abuse diagnosis. Dual diagnosis treatment addresses the symptoms of both problems to significantly reduce the overall risk of relapse.
The survivors workshop dives into childhood trauma to understand how that impacts addictions, mood disorders and problematic relationships. This is an integral part of each patient's program and is included as part of the inpatient treatment.
The Meadows offers various amenities including a swimming pool, various sports fields including a tennis and basketball court, meditation areas and common areas. Most clients sleep in shared rooms to get the most from the peer experience. Single occupancy may be possible if necessary.
The Meadows is accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers and The Joint Commission.
