Genesis Recovery Services is a residential substance abuse treatment facility providing 24-hour monitoring and support and specializing in treating substance abuse and addiction from a psychological perspective. Genesis Recovery Services encourages residents to develop well-rounded lifestyles and to pursue physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health. Treatment modalities in the Genesis Recovery Services program include individual and group psychotherapy, addiction and relapse prevention education, family involvement, peer support, and aftercare planning with referrals, as needed. Sometimes, apartments are available for rent to graduating clients.

Genesis Recovery Services is a member of the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors and is certified by the state of Alaska. They only accept Medicaid for payment of services.
