About Charlestown Recovery House
The Gavin Foundation Charlestown Recovery House is located in Charlestown, Massachusetts, and serves adult men who need support for their drug or alcohol use disorder. This recovery house has 30 beds and provides care and recovery support through a four to six-month program. During your time in this program, you’ll work with trained counselors and mentors who will help you and the other guys begin building the skills you need to lay the foundation for sustainable sobriety.
The Charlestown Recovery House serves as a critical pillar in your recovery because you’ll work through treatments in a supportive and positive environment. Exposure to this sober lifestyle will allow you to begin working towards independent living once you do leave the program.
Throughout the program, you’ll work through counseling sessions and peer group support that follow the 12 Step model. You’ll have the opportunity to listen and learn from other recovering individuals who have walked in your footsteps. You’ll gain critical insight into the road to recovery and learn how to manage expected obstacles that will come your way.
