About Gaudenzia Joy of Living

Gaudenzia’s Joy of Living is a women’s residential treatment program in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. This is one of Gaudenzia’s recovery oriented programs and also treats women with co occurring mental health disorders. Guadenzia has over 100 programs across 50 facilities in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Washington DC.

Recovery Skills for Healthy Living

The program focuses on recovery skills development necessary to live a healthy, fulfilling and self directed life free from drugs. You’ll benefit from the support and guidance of skilled professionals who are invested in your complete healing.

You’ll first undergo a thorough assessment including psychiatric evaluation during intake. Based on your assessed needs, they’ll create a personalized care plan that guides your recovery.

As you progress through your recovery, they’ll assist you in finding low cost housing, job opportunities and educational support via case management. Your case manager also coordinates care and links you to other relevant community support services that ensure sustained recovery.

The Joy of Living program accepts Medicaid plans and specific commercial insurance. I like that they can assist with county funding as well because it makes care more accessible.
