About Futures Recovery Healthcare
Set on a nine-acre gated campus in Tequesta, Florida, Futures Recovery Healthcare is a state of the art treatment center for mental health and substance abuse issues. They offer residential treatment, medically assisted detox and an intensive outpatient program. This facility has a number of amenities including individual and group therapy rooms, a pool, a gym and a library.
The residential program includes medical oversight and testing, as well as therapy and medication management. This inpatient experience gives you access to more hours of therapy and care than outpatient programs. While living onsite you’ll engage in fitness training, nutrition counseling and hypnotherapy. Detox may be your first step of treatment, which could last between five and seven days. Safety and comfort are top priorities, while medications may be used to assist your detox experience.
The intensive outpatient program includes three days per week of treatment for three hours at a time. Outpatient therapy sessions focus on peer support and building a sober support system. During counseling you may talk about topics like relationships, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness. Telehealth therapy appointments are another option for outpatient care facilitated by Futures.
One thing to note about this facility is that you’ll get a private room. All rooms feature a two bedroom suite.
People who’ve gone to treatment at Futures say that the staff was warm and helpful. Another person left a good piece of advice: there are people in this world who care about you and your recovery, you just need to let them help.
