Horizon Village is the corporate entity of Horizon Health Services that operated the residential programs such as Freedom Village. Freedom Village is located in Sanborn, New York. Residential Treatment for Male Veterans and First Responders

At Freedom VIllage, their specialized programs and interventions are geared toward veterans and first responders that identify as males. They accept insurance such as Medicaid, Medicare and TRICARE. If you’re uninsured, you will be able to pay for residential treatment based on a sliding fee scale.

I like that you will have a medical and psychological evaluation. The evaluation will help determine the most appropriate level of care for you. If needed, medication assisted treatment (MAT) can be used to help with substance abuse. The medication you will be prescribed has been approved by the FDA to ease your withdrawal symptoms.

During your treatment stay, you will attend individual and group counseling. I think it’s great that you receive education in regards to substance use disorders. You also have access to their health and wellness program. They’ll teach you to nourish your body with healthy foods so that you’ll feel stronger and more energetic.

Family Services

They encourage your family to also attend therapy services. With these services your family can also seek support and additional resources.
