About Five Sandoval Indian Pueblos Behavioral Health

Five Sandoval Indian PueblosBehavioral Health has been serving Five Pueblo tribal members of Cochiti, Jemez, Sandia, Santa Ana and Zia and non-tribal communities in the area for over 50 years. They are located in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, and offer an impressive array of services including behavioral healthcare. Their behavioral health services program has a team of dedicated clinicians that work with clients to assess and develop a treatment plan to help each client progress toward wholeness and healing. They work with adults, teens, children, couples and families.

Substance Abuse Treatment in Rio Rancho

Five Sandoval offers several substance abuse programs and services for their community. They start each client off with a drug and alcohol use assessment. Then, depending on the results, you’ll have a treatment plan that will meet your needs.

I find one of the best services that Five Sandoval offers is acudetox. This is a type of acupuncture that involves placing fine-point needles in specific points on the ear. I like this holistic offering that has been around for thousands of years.

As part of your treatment, you may take part in individual, couples, group or family counseling. This will help you get to the heart of your addictive behaviors and learn new healthy ways to deal with stress and difficult emotions.

I appreciate that Five Sandoval also offers case management. Your case manager will advocate on your behalf and help you get the resources and support you need. They work with you to remove any barriers that stand between you and your wellbeing.

New Mexico DWI Classes

If you’ve been charged with a DWI, you likely need to take DWI classes before your license is reinstated. Five Sandoval is certified by the State of New Mexico to provide DWI classes.

They offer a 12-hour DWI program that fulfills the New Mexico mandated DWI school requirements. This course may be offered over three days as a weekend course or as an evening class.
