About Wilmington VA Clinic
The Wilmington VA Clinic is one of the Department of Veterans Affairs’ many outpatient locations in North Carolina. They offer many services including primary care, mental health care and physical therapy. You might still be able to get help from this clinic even if you’re not enrolled with VA Health Care.
I like that you can go to the same location for most, if not all, your health needs. Licensed counselors can support you with any emotional or mental health challenge you are facing. They offer counseling for groups, families as well as one on one. You may do all three or just one, depending on your needs.
If you have other needs they can’t help with, they’ll link you with the right provider. I like that VA has a crisis line. This is for veterans or their concerned family members. You can call, chat or text with a qualified responder. You’ll get confidential help for yourself or a loved one. Many of the people on the other line are veterans, too.
