About Family Service of the Piedmont

Located in High Point, North Carolina, The Slane Center of Family Service of the Piedmont serves children, men, women, and families. If you’re experiencing a mental health condition or need treatment for a drug, alcohol, or substance use disorder, you can benefit from the available outpatient care offered here.

There are three treatment programs at The Slane Center. They specialize in child welfare services. Meanwhile, adults can be served through the walk-in counseling clinic or the integrated care program.

If you are seeking support for a substance use disorder, you’ll work with trained behavioral and psychiatric care from trained medical professionals. Care includes counseling services where you’ll build critical skills and habits that will shape your path to recovery. You’ll be supported through trauma-focused care, medication management if applicable, and access to referral services if you need more robust support.

They accept coverage from most insurance providers along with Medicaid. Services are also offered on a sliding scale basis if you require financial support.
