About Family Service League West Main Street

The Family Service League (FSL) has provided community based social services across Long Island for nearly 100 years. They serve more than 50,000 local residents every day through their various programs and clinics. One of those is the Riverhead Mental Health Clinic in Riverhead, New York. This is one of their Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC) which you can visit to receive comprehensive outpatient care for a variety of mental and behavioral healthcare needs.

Their goal is to stabilize your physical health and help you prepare mentally and emotionally for the recovery process. If you’re struggling with a drug or alcohol addiction then you can go here to receive immediate support. When you first come in, they’ll perform an initial screening and assessment to understand exactly what you’re going through. Then they’ll create a treatment plan to address those needs. They have a special track just for active duty military members and veterans.

The wide scope of the FSL is one of its greatest attributes. This network is so expansive that you can easily find all kinds of care, no matter what you’re dealing with. Their care coordination service helps you quickly connect with local hospitals, healthcare providers, social service agencies, and even law enforcement. They take a whole person approach to recovery and will make sure that you’re fully supported at every angle.

This coordination is made possible due to Riverhead’s unique location. Situated on Long Island’s North Fork, it’s the county seat of Suffolk County. It's more rural than some nearby communities but it boasts a robust cultural and professional scene. When you’re finished with treatment for the day, you can head to the renowned Long Island Aquarium, shop at the outlet centers or enjoy a show at the nearby Suffolk Theater.
