Family Guidance Centers are a live-in addiction treatment facility in Springfield, Illinois. It’s down the road from the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library. They treat adults by providing safe homes for them to get treatment.

You’ll be treated using medication which can help your physical body to cope without substances. To get your thinking ready for living sober, they’ll use proven therapy techniques including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and group therapy. Residential treatment provides a safe space for you to get to understand your addiction and deal with anything holding you back from successful sober living.

Once you’re ready, you’ll graduate to a less intense level of care. They’ll refer you to their outpatient treatment facilities where you can continue your recovery journey.
