About Families in Transition – Tirrell House – Closed
Families in Transition was a community based addiction treatment and transitional living program in Manchester, New Hampshire, that offered outpatient substance use services with sober living support at its Willows Transitional Living Program.
The program previously served adults and young adults working toward recovery, stability and long-term wellness.
Their mission was rooted in whole-person support, Families in Transition, I've found, blended evidence based therapy with housing and recovery resources to help clients rebuild their lives.
Closed: Outpatient and Transitional Living Programs
Clients could previously access intensive outpatient (IOP) and standard outpatient treatment, often paired with transitional housing for those who need a stable living environment during recovery.
Many clients started with a screening or assessment to determine the right level of care and identify any co-occurring needs.
When open, treatment included individual, group and family counseling using cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention and trauma-related counseling.
Telehealth therapy, case management, peer support and aftercare planning, I've seen, rounded out a comprehensive recovery experience.
