The Okeechobee Recovery Campus, part of Faith Farm Ministries, is a residential substance use disorder recovery center for men and is located in Okeechobee, Florida. Addiction Treatment on a Farm

This facility is on an approximately 400 acre working ranch in Florida. The farm provides a peaceful, quiet environment which helps you focus on your recovery and healing.

This ranch has cattle, citrus and bamboo groves, and goat projects. They provide work training while going through your recovery.

This farm has dormitory style rooms for up to 90 men. There are also offices, classrooms and a church. You have access to a gym/fitness facility, along with outdoor recreational areas.

A faith-based recovery integrates prayer, Bible study, worship and Christina teachings into your treatment journey. I can appreciate the fact that they believe in a holistic recovery approach, by helping you heal physically, spiritually and emotionally, while developing real life skills.

To be a part of this program, you must be willing to follow all the rules and to embrace their faith-based approach to recovery. Part of the rules are that you will work through your recovery by farming, working at the thrift store or one of the other enterprises. They believe the work therapy and vocational training are the cornerstone elements, which helps men prepare for employment and independence after graduation.
