About Expect A Miracle Ministries

Located in Albuquerque’s southeast neighborhood, Expect A Miracle Ministries is a faith-based addiction treatment program. This is a year-long residential discipleship program for people who have a strong desire to learn and change.

I think it’s important to note this is not a medical facility, so they aren’t able to provide detox, medical monitoring, or medication monitoring. The intake process includes an interview and initial assessment to determine fit. Programming will be a combination of spiritual growth, volunteerism, and practical life skills learning. You’ll have access to local churches, and services will be integrated into the program.

Close Proximity To City Parks And Community Resources

In this Albuquerque, New Mexico neighborhood, you’ll find local amenities like libraries, art, dining, and cultural attractions. A short drive from the facility is Nob Hill, another quaint area for leisure and fun during your transitional phase.

While in the Expect A Miracle program, you’ll participate in daily prayer, worship, bible studies, and serving. Offering a structured and supportive living environment, there are separate residences for men and women. The program is donation-supported, and residents are not required to pay program fees.

Twelve-Month Commitment

I found that this discipleship program is a year-long commitment with spiritual mentorship and peer fellowship. In addition to studying the bible and creating a relationship with God, you’ll attend group counseling sessions.

You’ll learn essential life skills and relapse prevention strategies. For the first 30 days of residency, there are no phone calls or visits allowed. As time goes on, evaluations will be given, and you’ll gain privileges like phone calls.
