About Evas Village
Eva’s Village, in Paterson, New Jersey, is a not-for-profit organization for persons experiencing homelessness, poverty, or drug and alcohol dependency. Their addiction recovery programs include residential, inpatient, outpatient services, as well as dual diagnosis care. Emergency assistance is available for those recovering from opioid overdose.
Their programs are gender-specific, including halfway houses for mothers in recovery with young children, with dedicated residential treatment centers for men, women, and women with children. In addition to addiction treatment services, Eva’s Village offers ancillary social services ranging from housing and employment assistance to legal and medical community referrals. Primary treatment modalities include clinical care, mental health services, and peer-to-peer counseling and support.
As a 501(c)(3) organization, Eva’s Village are community-funded and largely volunteer-based. Services are provided at no charge.
