Detox Followed by Outpatient Treatment

At Engage Wellness, your treatment can begin with drug or alcohol detox as a critical step to recovery. I’m impressed that they offer medical detox to manage your physical symptoms while providing crucial therapeutic support to manage your psychological withdrawal symptoms.

After completing detox, clients can enter one of their treatment programs depending on your psychological and clinical evaluation. I saw that these programs include traditional outpatient therapy and two intensive programs (IOP).

They also offer a specialized program for veterans, recognizing that the trauma many veterans experience is unique to their military service. This specialized program addresses combat related trauma and the difficult transition to civilian life.

Evidence Based & Holistic Options

Therapy programs include evidence based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy. They also offer holistic treatment options in your program that might include stress management, mindfulness practices and therapeutic activities that improve emotional regulation.

Activities may include fitness, nature connection, massage, or mental resilience training. The family program recognizes that addiction affects the whole family by providing support and assistance to repair relationships within the family unit and provide family members with the essential tools needed to help their loved one navigate recovery.

Opioid Treatment

When you enter opioid rehab in Massachusetts, you’ll receive treatment in a supportive environment that encourages recovery. After successful withdrawal management, you’ll participate in a variety of evidence-based therapies that prepare you for long-term sobriety.
