About Elmhurst Home Naomis Nest Womens Treatment Facility

Elmhurst Home–Naomi’s Nest is a residential addiction treatment program located in Highland Park, Michigan, a 10 minute drive from central Detroit. Here, women aged 18 and over can receive compassionate support in a secure, homelike environment. Some residents stay for a couple of weeks or a month, while others stay for up to three months. They don’t turn anyone away, regardless of their financial status or insurance coverage.

Comprehensive, Holistic Care for Long-Term Recovery

Naomi’s Nest is unique because they don’t just provide standard alcohol and drug rehab services, such as individual and group therapy. They also offer several wraparound services that give women the tools
they need to build a strong foundation on which to build a healthier future.

For example, they provide life and computer skills training and have a certified GED literacy program. They also offer parenting classes and community service opportunities, such as urban farming. I think that’s really special because it indicates they’re truly invested in helping women thrive, not just survive.

Help for Those with Legal Challenges

I also appreciate that Elmhurst Home helps people who’ve been involved with the justice system, including those who have just entered parole. This is really important since people can be especially vulnerable when transitioning from prison to the outside world. Additionally, this provider works with CPS to help women maintain custody of their children.
