About East Wareham Comprehensive Treatment Center

East Wareham’s Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is a methadone maintenance treatment center for adults in southeastern Massachusetts. East Wareham CTC can get you started on your recovery journey if you’re struggling with opioid use issues and don’t know how to go about it. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been struggling. They set you on a life changing path to recovery and healing.

They support same day admission and 24/7 appointment scheduling, which is something I was excited to see. That’s because you generally won’t have to deal with wait time. Accepting Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance helps them make care accessible.

Recovery In Charming East Wareham

East Wareham’s CTC is situated in the town of Wareham in Plymouth County. This area boasts a mix of rural charm and coastal access and is close to the Cape Cod region. The Parker Mills Pond and Onset Bay nearby provide a calm coastal setting perfect for reflection. Several other bodies of water in the area offer scenic beauty and tranquil spaces with great therapeutic benefits.

Local buses are readily available making it easy for locals to get here. The Plymouth & Brockton Street Railway offers bus routes to nearby cities like Plymouth and Boston. The Cranberry Highway and I-495 also offer accessibility.

Methadone Maintenance Treatment

Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is a clinically proven technique for treating opioid use issues. It sets you on a path to holistic healing by pairing meds with counseling. East Wareham CTC prescribes methadone to help normalize your brain chemistry, minimize cravings, and eliminate uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms.

However, addressing the physical symptoms is just the first step. The facility offers both group and individual counseling led by skilled counselors. You’ll develop healthier ways to cope so you don't relapse. Group counseling has the added advantage of letting you benefit from peer support with others who have similar experiences.

Combining counseling and meds this heals both your body and mind. It helps you regain balance, take control of your life and become a productive member of the community.

Medication Assisted Treatment with Take Home Dosing

Another thing we notice about this clinic is that they offer take home dosing. This feature makes your recovery journey less stressful. Rather than visit the clinic every day, you can focus on your recovery at home. This helps make it easy to realize your goals.
